This page explains how to delete your Openbase account and what happens to your data when you do. It applies to accounts used with the Openbase apps and services, including the Openbase mobile apps (published on Google Play as “Openbase: Screenless Voice Dev” by Big Help AI, and on iOS), the Openbase desktop app, and Openbase Cloud (app.openbase.cloud).
1. How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Openbase account in either of the following ways:
- From the web: sign in at app.openbase.cloud, open Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately.
- By email: send a request to team@openbase.cloud from the email address associated with your account. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
You do not need to have the mobile app installed to delete your account — the web and email options above are available to everyone.
2. What Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- your account record and profile information (name and email address);
- your authentication credentials and active sessions;
- push notification device tokens for your devices;
- Openbase Cloud data owned solely by your account, such as your workspaces, agent session history, and reports.
3. What May Be Retained
- Backups: residual copies may persist in encrypted backups and are purged on a rolling basis, typically within 30 days.
- Legal and billing records: records we are required to keep for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or other legal obligations are retained for as long as the law requires.
- Aggregated analytics: usage statistics that are no longer linked to your identity may be retained.
4. Requesting Data Deletion Without Closing Your Account
